Specimen was growing on hard wood (Lignicolous habitat) and growing on group or caespitose habit. Herbarium number RSPG01893 was collected on 23 Dec. 2019.

Macroscopic Description

Ascocarps disc shape, top ascocarps is inside disc shape while the under ascocarp is out side disc, mostly circular to ovoid shapes from top view, smooth surface except margin with pubescent (short hair), pink (red rose) (oac616) color, white hair at margin, dry surface, incurved margin, wrinkle or striate underneath near margin or striate radius near margin around ascocarp. Smooth hymenophore or underneath, cream color of hymenophore. Stipe 2.5–3.5 mm height x 1-1.5 mm width, central, cream (oac919) color, sometime connate base (fuse at base) mostly grow in solitary stipe, smooth, enlarge at base sometime but mostly cylindrical.

Microscopic Description

Ascospores Ovoid, elliptical to subglobose, thick walled, ornamentation with aculeate, Ascus cylindrical, long, smooth, thick-walled, Paraphyses cylindrical, sometime forked, septate, thick-walled, smooth, branched and slightly swollen and ventricose (long cell) at terminal. Ascocarps hymenial layers top layer present with long hair, thick walled, septate, pyriform to globose, broad, and smooth. Margin hairs present, long, thick, perpendicular, trichoderm, septate, pyriform to globose, smooth, under layer trama parallel, cylindrical, septate, thick walled, Stipilipellis present with long hair, thick walled, septate, pyriform to globose, broad, smooth. Stipe trama parallel, cylindrical, septate, thick walled. Chemical reaction hyaline in water, colorless in 3% KOH and inamyloid in Melzer’s reagent. Clamp connection absents.
